PAID FELLOWSHIP; Apply for the 2026 Claude Campus Ambassador Program

Applications are now open for the 2026 Claude Campus Ambassador Program, an opportunity for students and researchers around the world to take a leading role in building AI-focused communities and activities at their universities.

Organized by Anthropic, the programme is open to undergraduate students, master’s students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who are passionate about artificial intelligence, research, education and creating opportunities for others to learn and experiment with AI.

The programme will run for the 2026–2027 academic year, from September 2026 to June 2027. Selected participants will receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend, Anthropic API credits, opportunities to engage with Anthropic guest speakers and scientists, and membership in a global community of campus ambassadors. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so interested applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Undergraduate students can apply to lead Claude Builder Clubs, working with Anthropic to establish or run communities where students can explore AI through practical projects, workshops, hackathons, demonstrations and experimentation with AI tools.

Master’s students in STEM or humanities fields can apply to lead Claude Campus Conversations, organizing discussions and events around artificial intelligence, education and society while helping fellow students develop AI fluency and share their experiences building with Claude.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers working with AI in research can apply to lead Claude Science Workshops. These ambassadors will help build communities of AI-focused researchers, organize workshops and participate in events involving Anthropic’s science and mathematics teams.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have authorization to work in their country of study. Students and researchers from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, although the graduate and PhD programmes may initially select participants from a more limited pool of universities during the pilot phase.

Selected ambassadors will receive a USD 3,600 stipend, Anthropic API credits to support AI experimentation and projects, opportunities to interact with Anthropic guest speakers and scientists, and access to a global network of other campus ambassadors. The programme also provides participants with opportunities to develop leadership experience while helping expand AI learning, building and research within their university communities.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students, master’s students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers worldwide

Stipend: USD 3,600
