Are you committed to ocean conservation and want to take meaningful steps to protect marine life? EarthEcho International, Only One, and local ocean advocacy organizations are offering a unique, paid opportunity for young individuals in the European Union to join the Ocean Protection Ambassador program!

As an Ocean Protection Ambassador, you'll play an important role in advocating for a ban on harmful bottom trawling in Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) throughout the EU. Many countries are still not meeting their marine protection goals, and this initiative is looking for young leaders (ages 17-22) from France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain to help create impactful campaigns that rally public and political support for stronger marine protections.

This one-year program will provide you with the necessary tools and resources to design and implement creative campaigns that influence policy and drive momentum for ocean protection. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside advocacy groups, interact with government officials, and contribute to meaningful changes in ocean conservation legislation.

Program Details:

• Role: As a Youth Ambassador, you’ll help plan and execute campaigns to protect marine biodiversity, engage with key decision-makers, and advocate for policy change.
