Applications are open for individuals interested in serving as Climate Justice Envoys during the upcoming Africa Climate Week, from September 1–6, and the Africa Climate Summit, from September 8–10, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role offers participants the chance to contribute their perspectives and experiences to the ACE Observatory and its wider networks, ensuring that insights from the ground are brought into the center of high-level climate conversations.

Those selected will elevate the voices of communities most affected by climate change, reshaping narratives and influencing how climate issues are discussed and understood. As representatives of their communities, Envoys will also share stories and updates on social media, helping to spread grassroots perspectives to a wider audience.

Accommodation is provided under this program. However, the support is intended only for individuals who are already planning to attend the conferences, as the opportunity is designed to enhance and extend the advocacy work Envoys are already engaged in rather than cover full participation costs.
