Applications are now open for the 2026 ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme. This initiative is designed to support, connect, and elevate the work of social entrepreneurs who are creating real solutions to urgent social, economic, and environmental issues in their communities, while also strengthening the skills and agency of young people. Selected participants will join an international network, take part in tailored learning and capacity-building opportunities, and access seed funding to develop cross-border collaborations.

The programme is open to changemakers aged 18 to 35 who permanently live and work in Egypt, Eastern Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia. The official programme period runs from May 2026 to May 2027, and it includes an in-person summit scheduled for late September 2026 in Morocco.

Participants will be expected to cover a few personal travel-related costs, including transport to the summit city (as well as local transfers from the airport, train, or bus station), visa fees, and travel insurance. Any extra costs linked to arriving earlier or staying beyond the summit dates will also be the responsibility of the participant.

All other summit and programme expenses will be fully covered by ChangemakerXchange. This includes accommodation, meals, local transport during the summit, venue and logistics costs, materials and equipment, facilitation and hosting fees, programme coordination, carbon offsetting related to local hosting, and continued post-summit learning and community engagement activities.
