The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is inviting university students and early-career professionals from a wide range of disciplines to participate in GROWTH@IRENA, a virtual five-week educational initiative.

This interactive program aims to prepare emerging energy leaders by equipping them with practical skills and foundational knowledge to tackle evolving challenges in the renewable energy landscape.

Program Schedule & Format:
The series begins on 30 July 2025 and runs through 27 August 2025, with live weekly sessions every Wednesday. All sessions will be delivered in English.

Curriculum Highlights Include:

• Fundamentals of clean energy technologies
• Energy policy and stakeholder engagement
• Innovation in energy project design
• Inclusive approaches in the energy workforce (e.g. gender equity)
• Youth participation and energy education
• Sectoral insights: private industry, public policy, and global partnerships
• Expanding energy access and reaching renewable energy targets

Certification & Completion Requirements:
To earn a digital certificate of participation from IRENA, attendees must join at least four sessions and collaborate on a group capstone project, which involves producing a brief policy-oriented report.
