This program invites passionate and forward-thinking individuals to join the largest youth-led organization that leverages legal tools to confront the climate emergency, reinforce justice systems, and champion sustainable growth.

Último Recurso is currently at the forefront of climate justice in Portugal, spearheading a groundbreaking legal campaign aimed at holding major polluters accountable. Their portfolio includes over 170 legal cases, active involvement in global climate negotiations, and high-impact lawsuits that are reshaping environmental law.

Intern Cohort 25 will bring together a dynamic group of individuals ready to take meaningful steps in the fight against climate change. Selected candidates will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in legal actions addressing the climate crisis, influence environmental policy on both national and global stages, support advocacy for COP30 and other key UN initiatives, help design high-impact fundraising strategies, and play a role in shaping the organization’s global communication efforts.

This remote-compatible program is open to applicants from all countries and backgrounds. A flawless résumé is not required—what matters most is intellectual sharpness, genuine commitment, and a strong sense of purpose. The deadline to submit applications is 31 July 2025.
