UN Women is inviting experienced professionals to join its Mentor Network under the Regional Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO, a flagship initiative led by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (ECARO). This opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about women’s economic empowerment and are ready to support women-led businesses across the region.

Launched in 2021, the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO serves as a collaborative platform aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems for women. The initiative is currently implemented in 14 countries across Europe and Central Asia, including Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Beginning February 2026, UN Women ECARO will work with five selected companies from each participating country, bringing together a total of 65 scalable women-led businesses. These companies will take part in structured group sessions and receive tailored one-on-one mentorship. Mentors will play a key role in supporting business growth, refining strategies, and preparing entrepreneurs for the EXPO Capital Quest pitching event. Mentor–company matching will be based on sector expertise and business needs.

Role of Mentors

Selected mentors will contribute by:

• Providing strategic guidance in business development, technology, finance, or investment

• Supporting entrepreneurs in overcoming operational and growth challenges

• Encouraging confidence, leadership, and long-term vision

• Facilitating access to professional networks and market opportunities

• Contributing to sustainable and inclusive economic growth led by women

This mentorship initiative goes beyond skills transfer—it is a collaborative effort to build a supportive community where women entrepreneurs can grow resilient, competitive, and impactful businesses.
