About the Festival

The annual BeChangeMaker Youth Festival connects more than 300 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) youth participants and BeChangeMaker alumni from around the world.

The 2026 edition is held under the theme:

“The Changemaker’s Toolkit: Skills for Life in the Future Economy.”

The event explores how transferable life skills — such as critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, resilience, and self-directed learning — are becoming essential for navigating rapidly evolving labour markets and entrepreneurial pathways.

Aligned with the UNESCO TVET Strategy 2022–2029, the festival highlights how education systems, social enterprises, and community initiatives can empower young people to learn, work, and thrive in uncertain economic environments.
