Win Cash Prizes & a Study trip to Paris : Join the Team Up for Climate Challenge 2025
Since 2022, students and recent graduates from across the globe have teamed up in groups of 2 to 5 to develop innovative solutions focused on the theme: adapting and living together in the face of climate risks.
As teams progress through the challenge, they receive various forms of support to refine their projects. This includes group workshops on pitching, business models, and entrepreneurship, as well as dedicated mentors who work closely with each team to guide the technical development of their ideas and assess their potential for climate adaptation impact.
The top three teams will receive personal rewards, along with additional funding to help bring their projects to life during the first six months.
Categories
Imagine improving a local area you’re familiar with, enhancing its resilience to climate change. Start by identifying the climate risks and vulnerabilities specific to that area. The more you understand the challenges, the more effective your solution will be. Your project can focus on one or more of the following areas:
Inform & Raise Awareness
Engage the community through creative approaches—such as organizing workshops, running awareness campaigns, or utilizing technology and social media.
Consider using storytelling, art, or interactive tools to communicate climate risks and inspire action.
Anticipate & Repair
Create solutions to help communities prepare for climate risks and recover from disasters. This could include establishing early warning systems, preparing disaster response plans, or designing strategies to rebuild vital infrastructure in a more resilient way, like introducing drought-resistant crops.
Protect & Adapt
Develop practical solutions to protect communities from climate threats. This might involve building flood barriers, designing resilient infrastructure, or using nature-based solutions such as reforestation or coastal protection to safeguard against storms and erosion.
