WISE Prize for Education 2026–2027 Apply Now
Applications are open for the WISE Prize for Education 2026–2027, a prestigious global education innovation program organized by World Innovation Summit for Education, an initiative of Qatar Foundation. The program is designed to identify and support outstanding educational solutions that are addressing some of the world’s most pressing learning challenges. The WISE Prize provides funding, mentorship, technical support, and international exposure to organizations developing innovative and scalable education solutions with measurable impact.
The 2026–2027 cycle focuses on practical and evidence-based innovations that improve learning outcomes, life opportunities, and overall wellbeing for learners worldwide. Selected finalists will receive intensive development support over a 12-month period to help refine and scale their projects into stronger minimum viable products capable of wider implementation across different contexts and regions. The program particularly encourages solutions that support marginalized learners, responsible use of AI in education, foundational literacy and numeracy, multilingual learning, and learner wellbeing.

In addition, finalists will gain access to the extensive WISE global network consisting of more than 60,000 education innovators, policymakers, researchers, and development leaders. Finalists will present their solutions at the WISE 13 Summit in Qatar, where the top three winners will share a USD 1 million prize pool. The program also offers international visibility, networking opportunities, and potential partnerships with organizations supporting education innovation globally.
Applicants are expected to present solutions that are beyond the idea stage and already show signs of successful implementation through pilot programs, prototypes, or existing projects. Organizations must demonstrate the ability to further develop and scale their solutions over the 12-month support period. The competition is especially interested in innovations that improve educational access, learning outcomes, inclusion, mental wellbeing, foundational skills, and ethical technology integration in education systems.
