The University of Cambridge's Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme is delighted to announce that applications for the academic year 2024/2025 are now open. This program is tailored to provide fully funded opportunities to talented students hailing from Africa, enabling them to successfully complete their master's studies, nurture transformative leadership qualities, and actively contribute to climate resilience and sustainability, both in Africa and globally.
The scholarship program covers a wide array of disciplines at Cambridge, with the exception of specific business courses, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), and Master of Finance (MFin).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be citizens of an African country.
- They should be ordinarily resident in an African country unless they can demonstrate temporary absence for study/work with the intent to return, or they have experienced displacement.
- Applicants must be seeking admission to a Master's program of up to one year in duration at the University of Cambridge.
Application Process:
The application process commences with an application for admission to the University of Cambridge through the course directory. This should be completed by the funding deadline of the course.
The funding application is integrated into the course application process.
As part of their application, prospective scholars will be required to provide a supplementary statement demonstrating their personal commitment to advancing climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa.
