Our Youth For The Climate is currently seeking a passionate and creative individual to take on the role of Director of Media. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in leadership roles and wants to make a real impact through media within a global youth-led climate education movement.

The person in this role will be responsible for steering the organization’s overall media approach. They will provide direction and support to various media sub-teams, such as those focused on video production and storytelling. Ensuring that all communication reflects the core mission and principles of the organization will be a key priority. They will also cultivate meaningful connections with media partners and shape the narratives that motivate young people to take meaningful climate action.

The ideal candidate will be someone with proven leadership skills, experience in team coordination, and a strong grasp of multimedia strategy across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. They should be capable of dedicating at least 12 hours per week on a voluntary basis and be comfortable working in a fully virtual setup. Applicants should be between the ages of 14 and 28 and have familiarity with tools like Canva and Slack for smooth content creation and team communication. While not a requirement, prior involvement in climate-related initiatives would be a valuable asset.
