BADGES: Apply for accreditation to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar
Applications are open for young people to take part in the Second World Summit for Social Development, set to take place in Doha, Qatar, in November 2025. Youth Love Egypt Foundation (YLE), a youth-led non-governmental organization established in 2012 that focuses on environmental and sustainable development issues, is facilitating this opportunity. They will assist with the registration process, provide official support letters, and guide participants through visa procedures, while participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
YLE holds accreditation with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), observer status with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and recognition from the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), among other international bodies. These affiliations demonstrate the foundation’s active involvement in global discussions and policy-making on sustainability and environmental development.
The Summit itself is a major international event organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Family of Qatar, in collaboration with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA). It will bring together Heads of State and Government, representatives of international and regional organizations, civil society, and the private sector to discuss social development challenges and foster global cooperation toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
