Contribute to the 1st UNESCO Global Youth Outlook on Youth Mental Health
Applications are now open for young people worldwide to contribute to the first-ever Global Youth Outlook led by the UNESCO Youth Programme.
This landmark initiative will focus on Youth Mental Health in Times of Crises, exploring how global challenges—including conflict, climate shocks, economic instability, pandemics, and social disruptions—are affecting the well-being and resilience of young people.
Young people aged 18 to 35 are invited to take part in a global consultation survey that will inform the development of evidence-based recommendations for governments and institutions worldwide.
About the Global Youth Outlook
The Global Youth Outlook aims to:

Examine the current state of youth mental health globally

Understand how crises influence young people’s well-being

Identify emerging mental health trends among youth

Develop practical policy recommendations to strengthen resilience

Support governments in shaping youth-responsive systems and strategies
The survey is one of the key research tools informing the Outlook and is conducted for research purposes. Responses will be aggregated to present a global picture of youth perspectives.
