COP30 BADGES: Apply for a blue badge to attend COP30 in Belém, Brazil

PESWS is now inviting individuals to express their interest in obtaining an observer badge for the upcoming COP30 Climate Change Conference, scheduled to be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10 to 21, 2025. This badge grants “observer status,” allowing participation in the global discussions on climate policy and environmental action.

All applications must be submitted by October 20, 2025. Since the number of badges available through PESWS is limited, only a select number of applicants will receive the opportunity to attend. Successful candidates will need to cover their own travel expenses, accommodation, and any other costs incurred during their participation at COP30.

Participants chosen to receive a badge will also have to comply with the official requirements set by the COP30 organizers and the Brazilian authorities. This includes providing personal documentation, such as passport details or other registration information requested by the event organizers.

After the conference, every delegate sponsored by PESWS will be expected to write a brief reflection on their experience at COP30. These reports will be featured on the PESWS website to share insights and perspectives gained from the event. Interested applicants are encouraged to fill out the form to express their interest in receiving a PESWS observer badge.
