Applications are now open for the YLE Foundation On-Ground Delegation to the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This follows the exciting announcement that YLE Foundation has been officially admitted as an accredited observer organization by the UNFCCC — a significant milestone that strengthens its role in global climate advocacy.

As part of this accreditation, YLE Foundation now has the privilege to nominate more on-ground delegates to attend COP30 — one of the world’s most influential gatherings where governments, youth, civil society, and experts come together to shape the future of climate action and sustainability. This opportunity offers passionate changemakers a front-row seat to international climate negotiations, side events, and youth-led discussions. Delegates will represent YLE Foundation on the global stage, connecting with world leaders and contributing to solutions that advance a sustainable and equitable future.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to climate action, youth empowerment, and amplifying the voices of Egypt and Africa in global climate dialogues. Due to the limited number of on-ground badges available, selection will be highly competitive. Candidates should ensure that all information provided is accurate, complete, and reflects their genuine motivation to contribute meaningfully to this international forum.
