Applications are open for the CJID AI-in-Journalism Incubator 2.0 Programme. This initiative is organized by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) to support African journalists, media professionals, data analysts, and technologists who are passionate about applying artificial intelligence in the media sector. The programme is designed to encourage innovation, improve newsroom productivity, combat disinformation, and strengthen ethical journalism through the responsible use of AI.

Participants in the incubator will have the opportunity to develop minimum viable products (MVPs) in collaboration with experts, receive mentorship, and gain funding support to refine and scale their tools. The programme provides a unique space for interdisciplinary teams to co-create AI solutions that can transform the practice of journalism in Africa while ensuring media accountability and inclusivity.
