The traineeship also offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen professional networks, improve understanding of international institutions, and build a competitive profile for future careers in diplomacy, international organisations, governance, development, and communication sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must currently hold citizenship of Sierra Leone due to local health and security considerations. Candidates are expected to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Law, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Journalism, or related disciplines. The programme specifically targets young graduates with less than one year of professional experience after graduation. However, internships, volunteering activities, and student jobs carried out during or after university studies are generally not counted as professional experience.
