Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries
This opportunity is open to applicants from countries across both Africa and Europe, reflecting the cross-continental focus of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab. Young filmmakers from all African nations are encouraged to apply, including countries in East, West, Central, North, and Southern Africa such as Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, and many others.

Similarly, applicants from all European Union member states and partner European countries are eligible to participate. This includes countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and others across the European region.

Overall, the programme is broadly inclusive and welcomes applications from any eligible African or European country, with a strong emphasis on diversity, collaboration, and cross-cultural storytelling.
