World Learning has opened applications for the STEAM Innovations Virtual Exchange Program 2026, an interactive international learning experience designed for university and college-aged youth interested in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).

This fully funded 8-week virtual program brings together students from Algeria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United States to explore future career pathways, build global collaboration skills, and engage in community-focused innovation projects.

Program Timeline

• Orientation: March 9, 2026

• Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week

• Final Application Deadline: February 15, 2026

About the Program

The STEAM Innovations program is designed to support young people in discovering STEAM disciplines, developing leadership and problem-solving skills, and collaborating across cultures. Participants will engage in virtual learning activities focused on career planning, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and global collaboration.

The initiative is implemented by World Learning and supported by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative, a program funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Aspen Institute.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

• Explore STEAM career pathways and identify personal strengths

• Develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

• Strengthen creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Collaborate on global challenges with international peers

• Gain experience in innovation and entrepreneurship

Program Cost

The program is fully funded, and participants do not pay any fees.
