FULLY FUNDED TO FRANCE: Apply for the Embassy of France Master’s Scholarships 2025/26 for young Ugandans

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025/2026 Master’s scholarship program funded by the French Embassy in Uganda. This initiative supports young Ugandan graduates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in specific fields and are seeking to pursue postgraduate studies at a public university in France. Eligible candidates may undertake their studies in either English or French, depending on the chosen academic program.

This scholarship targets a range of disciplines, including agriculture, sustainable development, tourism and hospitality, gender-related studies, economics, engineering, business management, and French language. Applicants must be Ugandan nationals and must have completed their undergraduate degree in one of the relevant fields before the deadline. In addition, applicants must have studied French at some point during their academic journey.

The scholarship package includes return airfare between Uganda and France, exemption from tuition fees, visa fees, and the CVEC student contribution. Successful candidates will receive a monthly living allowance, health insurance with partial coverage from the French government and Campus France, and help with administrative formalities. Scholarship recipients will also benefit from prioritized access to affordable student accommodation and will have opportunities to engage in cultural events and professional networking during their stay in France.

To apply, candidates must prepare a cover letter, a copy of their national ID or passport, a copy of their undergraduate diploma, and proof of application to or acceptance by a French public university. The responsibility of identifying and applying to a university lies with the applicant, and confirmation of university admission is necessary for final selection.

All required documents must be compiled into a single PDF and sent via email no later than midnight on June 15, 2025, to Louise BAY, the Cultural and Education Affairs Attachée at the French Embassy in Uganda, at scac.uganda@gmail.com. Applicants will receive a confirmation message once their submission has been received. Please note that incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed.
