Fully Funded To Manchester ,UK : Apply for the Equity and Merit Scholarships  2026/27 at the University of Manchester

As part of its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the University of Manchester offers the Equity and Merit Scholarships to support exceptional postgraduate students from specific countries in the Global South. These scholarships are designed to help individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford studying at the University and who demonstrate both academic excellence and a clear commitment to driving sustainable development in their home nations.

The program provides financial assistance for individuals pursuing postgraduate studies that align with priority areas such as engineering, environmental studies, health, development, education, textiles, and law. A total of 30 scholarships are awarded annually—20 for one-year, full-time on-campus programs, and 10 for part-time, distance learning courses that span three to five years.

These awards are available to nationals of Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, and aim to increase access for those from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a particular encouragement for female applicants.

This initiative reinforces Manchester’s dedication to equity, global development, and inclusive access to higher education.
