Applications are open for the IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.

One Young World, in collaboration with IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, is excited to present a scholarship opportunity for young changemakers in the field of social enterprise.

This initiative supports social entrepreneurs dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and sustainable world by tackling the underlying issues of poverty, marginalization, and inequality.

Selected individuals will have the chance to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.

Selected scholars will become part of IKEA’s international delegation at the Summit, offering them the opportunity to engage with global sustainability experts and present their work on a worldwide platform.

They will also gain lifetime membership to the One Young World Ambassador network—an active global community of over 20,000 leaders, innovators, activists, and entrepreneurs.

Program Benefits

The scholarship provides full access to the Summit, scheduled for November 3–6, 2025, including round-trip economy airfare to Munich, private hotel accommodation from November 2–7, and meals during the event. Invitation letters will be issued to support Schengen visa applications where necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old and serve as founders or co-founders of a social enterprise based in Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, or Sweden.

Applicants should demonstrate strong English communication skills and be actively involved in sectors such as inclusive circularity, employment, or sustainable agriculture and food systems.

Applicants should exhibit proven leadership qualities and a dedication to driving meaningful change in their communities through social enterprise. Although individuals from any country are welcome to apply, the majority of delegates are typically between the ages of 18 and 30. Those over 30 may still be considered if they show significant personal impact and involvement, while individuals who will be under 18 by the time of the Summit are not eligible to participate.
