Selected Young Leaders will participate in a tailored leadership and capacity-building programme during AIDS 2026 and beyond. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the AIDS 2026 Young Leaders Programme, applicants must be 29 years old or younger at the time of application and must already be registered to attend the AIDS 2026 conference in person. This means that participation in the programme is strictly tied to conference attendance, and applicants must secure their registration beforehand.

Applicants should have a strong interest or involvement in HIV-related work, including advocacy, research, or community engagement. The programme is particularly targeted at young people living with HIV, activists, and emerging researchers who are passionate about making an impact in the global health space.

Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a good working knowledge of English, as the programme activities and communications are conducted in English. Selection is based on the quality of the application, while also ensuring diversity and representation from different regions and backgrounds.
