The European Commission has announced new calls for proposals under Horizon Europe’s 2025 Work Programme for Cluster 5, which focuses on Climate Action, Energy, and Mobility. A total of €636.6 million in EU funding is available to support groundbreaking research and innovation addressing the twin green and digital transitions.

These calls aim to accelerate climate neutrality, enhance energy security, and develop sustainable, competitive, and resilient transport systems. Funding opportunities are available across the following destinations:

• Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition

• Climate sciences and responses towards climate neutrality

• Sustainable, secure, and competitive energy supply

• Clean and competitive transport solutions for all modes

• Safe, resilient transport and smart mobility services for passengers and goods
