Applications are open to join the Youth Scientific Advisory Board 2025/2026 at Youth and Environment Europe (YEE). This volunteer position offers young environmentalists the opportunity to contribute scientific expertise that strengthens YEE’s advocacy, campaigns, and training initiatives across Europe.

About the Role
Members of the Youth Scientific Advisory Board will play an essential role in ensuring that YEE’s work is grounded in credible, up-to-date scientific knowledge on environmental and climate-related topics. The role involves providing research-based insights to support YEE’s advocacy positions, helping to prepare policy papers, and contributing to the organization’s capacity-building materials such as handbooks and educational resources.

• Commitment: Approximately 7–10 hours per month

Responsibilities

• Offer scientific insights and analysis to inform YEE’s advocacy, projects, and campaigns.

• Support the drafting of position papers and reports based on independent, youth-focused research.

• Contribute data and expertise for educational materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Help raise awareness and build capacity among young people on pressing climate and environmental issues.
