TEACH FOR SDGs 3rd COHORT: Primary & Secondary School teachers who want to gain skills in SDGs and Project Management are invited to apply!
AIIDEV Africa has initiated Cohort 3 of Teach4SDGs, aiming to advance sustainable development awareness and educate future generations about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This 12-week intensive training includes 10+ advanced workshops, lectures, readings, assessments, and practical projects for primary and secondary school educators. The curriculum covers the 17 SDGs, focusing on topics like Education for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Green Economy, and Technology and Innovation. The program's objective is to empower teachers with knowledge, skills, and tools to integrate SDGs into their curriculum, fostering sustainable development education. Teach4SDGs, conducted in English, requires applicants to have proficient language skills, and it will be delivered virtually. The selected participants will commence the 12-week training and activation program on January 8, 2024.

1. Attaining advanced knowledge and skills in SDGs, ESD, and other sustainability concepts.

We encourage you to fill out and submit the form by the deadline: December 24, 2023, at 10:00 PM WAT.
1. The application is open to Primary and Secondary School Teachers in both Public and Private Schools across Sub-Saharan African countries.
2. Applicants should be able to dedicate at least 4 hours on 2 days per week throughout the training program. All sessions will be conducted in English.
3. Applicants must fall within the age range of 20 – 45 years.
4. Participants should be available for virtual training and capable of conducting SDGs Activation in their schools.
5. The program seeks individuals interested in serving as development and transformation agents, fostering student learning about the SDGs.
6. Applicants do not need prior knowledge of the SDGs 2030.
