Applications are open for young Africans passionate about driving climate action to volunteer with Africa Youth Mobilization for COP (AYM4COP), an initiative powered by YOUNGO—the official youth constituency of the UNFCCC—in collaboration with the UN’s Regional Collaboration Centre for MENA and South Asia. This movement is dedicated to empowering youth across the continent to take an active role in shaping sustainable solutions and building climate resilience.

As a volunteer, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the climate justice space, connect with peers and professionals committed to environmental impact, and contribute meaningfully to a continent-wide mission for sustainability. Whether your strengths lie in communication, research, education, partnership building, or climate policy, there’s a space for your voice and energy within AYM4COP.

The initiative is looking for committed individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who are ready to work alongside fellow changemakers to confront the pressing environmental challenges facing Africa today. With a range of thematic working groups available, applicants are encouraged to join based on their unique interests, skills, and passion for climate advocacy.
