COP30: Applications Open for Communications Agency to Power the Children & Youth Pavilion at COP30

Applications are now open for agencies eager to take on a leading role at COP30 in Belém, Brazil, from November 10–21, 2025. The Children & Youth Pavilion, an independent space created and run by young people, is searching for a communications agency that will highlight and amplify the stories of children and youth fighting for climate justice before, during, and after the conference.

The selected agency will be tasked with running a full-scale communications strategy. This includes overseeing bilingual social media campaigns in English and Portuguese, managing branding and visual identity, keeping the website updated, handling press relations, and producing photos and videos on-site throughout the summit. They will also be responsible for preparing a comprehensive post-event report that reflects the impact of the pavilion’s activities.

This opportunity is especially directed toward youth-led or youth-focused teams, with priority given to agencies based in Brazil and across the Global South. Applicants must be able to field a bilingual English-Portuguese team in Belém and are required to provide a fossil-free declaration, confirming their alignment with climate-friendly principles. Proposals should also include a detailed budget spreadsheet, clearly indicating any pro-bono contributions.

The deadline to apply is August 31, 2025, at 23:59 UTC. Once submissions are made, applicants will receive an automatic confirmation via e-mail. Short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews in the second week of September. This is a unique chance for a communications team to make history by elevating the voices of young people at one of the most important climate gatherings in the world.
