PAID OPPORTUNITY: Apply to join the Youth Advisory Group for the Land Rights Now! Regional Campaign on Climate Justice in Latin America
Are you passionate about land rights and climate justice? Do you have experience advocating for Indigenous and community land rights? Land Rights Now! and Tipping Point, a collaboration between Oxfam Novib, Fridays for Future Netherlands, and Extinction Rebellion Netherlands, are inviting youth activists from across Latin America and the Caribbean to apply for a unique opportunity to shape the region’s land rights and climate justice movement.
As the world heads toward COP30 in Belém, Brazil, this campaign aims to unite youth from various land rights movements across the region. The objective is to secure Indigenous and community land rights, a crucial component in combating the climate crisis. With funding available to support 5 to 10 youth-led groups, the campaign will take action under a shared narrative and call to action, culminating in COP30.
Who Are We Looking For?
Land Rights Now! is mobilizing citizens and organizations globally to secure land rights for Indigenous Peoples and local communities. These rights are essential to eradicating poverty, fighting hunger, tackling climate change, and promoting justice for all. Tipping Point, a project by Oxfam Novib, Fridays for Future Netherlands, and Extinction Rebellion Netherlands, empowers young climate justice activists, especially from the Global South, to amplify their voices and strengthen their movements.
They are looking for three passionate youth activists from Latin America and the Caribbean with experience in land rights and climate justice to join their advisory group. These individuals will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a campaign that will mobilize the region’s youth and shape the global narrative on land rights and climate justice.

4.Developing the Call to Action: Create a solidarity statement and strategize on how to amplify this message.
5.Selecting Grantees: Help review applications, mobilize networks to expand the reach of the campaign, and provide feedback to selected grantees.
